Lambeth Council is introducing a School street at Macaulay Primary School during drop off and pick times. This temporary prohibition of vehicles aims to help reduce road danger on the road, improve air quality and increase active travel to school, creating a safer and more pleasant environment at the school gates. The School Street will be introduced on 18th November 2024.
Our Year 6 class recently enjoyed an exciting interactive Art workshop at Battersea Arts Centre. The workshop encouraged the pupils to think creatively about their future aspirations and dreams.
Battersea Arts Centre is dedicated to supporting young people, artists and the local community and we are delighted such a renowned arts centre is only a 10-minute walk from our school. BAC is also celebrating 50 years in our community and we are looking forward to our next visit!
International Event - Friday 8th November 2024 hosted by the PTA
Following last year's fundraising efforts - capped by over £5k raised at the summer fair - the PTA has met its initial fundraising target for phase 1 of the lower-playground refurbishment project.
